So, our first media literacy course based at St John's College in Durham has come to an end. From the sound of it, its been a rip-roaring success. The students seem happy. The staff are happy. We even had tweets coming into the conference from Archbishop John Sentamu and Ruth Gledhill from the Times.
You can find lots more information from the course on Bex Lewis blog. She also kept a record of all the tweets with the #medialit tag. There were almost 1000 tweets with more and more students joining twitter and exploring engaging with the in venue twitterfall.
If you'd be interested in CODEC and Churches Media Network running a version of #medialit in your region, college, network, then just hold of us. It isn't too expensive, includes some fantastic speakers, and enables people to engage theologically with the media and to engage with theology in a media-savvy way.
If you need more, just email me!
