I was alerted to this blog post by @peterould who wrote his own blog post "How to out yourself". I'm not so sure that that title does justice to this piece. Here is a modern icon (???) declaring himself for Christ. That's an interesting thing to do in the secularised world in which he lives. But I think it is yet another sign of post-secularism.
I was at a meeting the other day about new ways of being church and heard all that old talk of the death of Christendom and the march of secularism. Personally I remain very suspect of the whole PostChristendom argument. Despite Biblical Literacy collapsing. Despite the rise of the secularist agenda. Despite the in fighting in the various denominations. There is so much positive stuff to look at - the rise of the black-led churches in London and the UK in general; the empowering of the people through the Pentecostal revival in Brazil; the nascent Chinese Christian revival; the reChristianising of the East.
Well done, Adam. Hope God blesses your confession.
Pete
